The band "Vagabond" then tapped him as their keyboardist for a year in 1983 and they played the Lehigh Valley and New Jersey extensively, opening once for the Hooters. From 1984 to 1987 Jim did 5 major productions for Richard Akins Productions as an actor--playing Jesus in "Jesus Christ Superstar", Magaldi in "EVITA" and more.
